TUBUKA, the first born

Amid a lot of tension,
I saw you in a dream
before  you were born;
torso draped in a white towel,
head popping out-a big one,
skin resembling your mother’s.
Next day I saw you in  the hospital
in the real form;
to my surprise, the dream and the reality
were the same.
As days pass by,
we try to find out
how much your resemblance to whom:
how much in the face to your father,
how much in the chin to your mother,
how much of what to your grand parents,
and all the remotely blood related.
Analogy of body now
and of mind later
shall continue
till you become a father.
