A poem about a poem...
What is a poem?
Is it just a bunch of idioms dancing with a bundle of similes
Across there own metaphorical broadway stage?
Is it just a pattern of A and B a bunch of
Repetitive rhyme schemes?
An amazing amount of alliteration
And never ending hyperboles?
Is a poem a place of imagination
Where with a little personification
Your poetic creatures can come out?
Where you can create a place where phones fly and the
Wind calls and the thunder can shout?
What is a poem?
Some tell stories
Some tell lies
Some are random
Some will rhyme
Some are simple
In some you die
Some are happy
Some are kind
A poem is a wonderland of many types of things.
At least that’s what I see. A poem is a wonderland
Made for you and me.
