Monster
When you look at me
What sight is in your view?
A ghost of a girl or a
Monster wanting to be new?
When I say a single word
What is it that you hear?
The screaming of a dying bird
Or a gentle whisper in your ears?
When a memory of me
crosses through your mind
Does it show that life is slow
but we all run out of time?
Do I seem so full of faith
Or like I await my doom?
Will there ever come a day
Where my demons cease to bloom?
When I look at me
what have I always seen?
A creature trapped within
Who cannot let me be.
