Life is like and hour glass
You can see your life passing by like the grains of sand
Endlessly moving until it is all gone
You can do nothing but watch the time run away
During this time you are weak
This weakness leaves you vulnerable
You’re blind to the coming enemy
An enemy you made
The darkness in you
It grows and builds in strength from your misery
And as your times ends you feel... Relieved
That you no longer have to witness daily horrors
However you very soon realize
You have to wait for such peace
For you are incased in the very orb of the hour glass
Inside is all the pain you have bottled
All the pain you caused on other
All the demons within your heart
The fear forces you to show your real self
The shriveled up pile of parts that is you
The pieces you try to get rid of but are always there when you return
For they are latched onto your very should
This orb of hauntings has one last thing to do
To question you, to judge you, to place you
You will be placed on one of two tracks
A track leading to a land where happiness sprouts and joy thrives
Or the other
One entirely based on the demons you hide and the scars they bear
This way will lead you to a place of fire, pain and sorrow
The black hole is its name
Where no lights shine
And no thoughts are made
A place where you are always, forever and completely alone...
As Eve took a bite of the forbidden fruit we eat a feast of mistakes
The luscious fruit of greed temps is
And as we partake... As we give in... As the hour glass begins...
