I never meant to let you down,
I’m not perfect, no one is,
I promised to give you everything that I could,
Was that not enough?
Did I not make you happy?
Did I not try hard enough?
Why did you leave?
I loved you with all i had but you left,
Not a word nor a tear,
You walked out that door and left me here,
Do you know how bad that hurt?
I cried night after night wishing and hoping you would come back,
Drank till i was numb,
Screaming your name hoping I’d hear your voice,
Why dose this always have to happen to me?
Will i ever be happy?
Should i just give up?
Maybe someday I’ll be happy,
But for now I’m not to sure about that.
