Dear Child
Come run with me dear inner child,
Let’s gaze upon the stars,
Come laugh with me,
I’ll nurture thee,
And keep you safe from harm,
I promise that even as I grow old,
Older is something that you’ll never grow,
You’ll remain forever young and free,
Free of the world and life’s painful woes,
Dear inner child how sweet you are,
Untainted by life.....pure and true,
You are the specialness that is within those stars,
I now gaze upon here with you,
I will forever acknowledge and love you so,
I will nurture you with care,
Dear inner child you’re one of the best parts of me,
And for you I will always be there xo
