Loves lost dream
Holding hands,
Making plans,
Living for the moment,
Carefree.
Hearing each other before we speak,
Knowing me like I know you,
Giving me a hug when I’m feeling blue,
Nothing else should matter when we are together,
Great force between us getting better and better.
People see loves lost dream,
Living like cats got the cream.
So it seemed
Peering through the window looking from the side,
Amazing what the perfect couple can hide.
Over stuffed seams tearing down the middle,
Expectancy without decency
Betrayal a double life,
All can happen between husband and wife.
For richer for poorer,
For better or worse.
So much can be said from this short yet strong verse,
A potion that only a witch would curse.
Combining a pressure between husband and wife to remain in love for the rest of their lives.
