A Father's Plea
It is his earnest, exceptional desire -
to see his children excel and go higher.
He surely, sincerely wants his offspring to be -
a spectacular representation of his parenting, you see.
It is his hourly, heartfelt prayer -
for his seed to rise up, facing life’s dares.
He expects, endeavors for his progeny to discover -
the perfect spouse, not chase after useless lovers.
It is his deep, desperate plea -
the fruit of his loins will go farther than he.
No greater call, cry will cover the seas -
than that of a Father for his little ones at his knee.
