I would have giggled and laughed
As I sat on your lap
In that big ole rocking chair
Grandma would have brought us
Cookies and milk
And said we were quite a pair
We would have had so much fun
Sitting on the river bank
And fishing in the sun
As I got older you’d took me hunting
And let me shoot your ole shotgun
But grandpa
We didn’t get to do
