Soiled Cocoon

We were once inseparable

You and I...

I took your advice
Nurturing me
Protected me...

Allowed me...

To express myself
Release all of it

My thoughts...

I once trusted you.

But your expression...

Turned frigid;

Like ice...

Called me weak...

Stupid...

You were quick to judge me.
Left me helpless on my own.

By the time I really needed you;

It was too late.

I am too far gone
From your sight.

Someone had soiled me...

Wasted me...

My so called temple
You once had me believe

Has been broken into shatters.

Violated...

Stolen from me.

My temple has been trashed.

It’s disgusting...

And I’m trapped...

Living inside a soiled cocoon
Which once was my safe haven

The world outside...

Makes this heart quiver...

Throbbing...

The pain inside is unbearable...

Nauseated...

The temple is cracking...

But it’s the only place I can stay

Where I once felt safe...

What I used to call;

HOME...
