The Gentle Giant

Metaphysics/Spiritual

Hurry back in once was said, the road of mystery to tread
Hand on heart be taken in, by deep rich moments, we all win
Resting there upon the hill, a darkened shadow, fast of will
Its form appearing menacing, to see his face was grimacing
But hasten not now to conclude, this mood not shallow, love his food
Nourished deep within his soul, this character stood broad and tall
He’d seen adventure, aimed his soul, conquered mountains, climbed the wall
Gentle was the giant within, soulful eyes, his grimacing
But like I say, do not conclude, this man a brut, love is his food
His scars of life have served him well, he entered and returned from hell
Illusion that once held him fast, now distant memory of past
So now he rests upon the hill, radiating gods own will
Hurry back in once was said, the road of mystery to tread
Hand on heart be taken in, by deep rich moments, we all win
