Forever is not today
Nor is it tomorrow,
In this crazy life, with its ups and its downs
My heart has found someone to follow.
Forever does not mean
I’ll love you until you’re gone.
It simply means for the rest of my life,
Whether it feels right
Or it feels wrong.
Forever is a feeling that your mind cannot disguise,
The impossibility to despise
The one you want to be with,
Until the end of your demise.
Forever is the beat of your heart,
While thinking about the one you love.
It is the air to your lungs and
The blood to your body because
Forever is the one you love.
Forever is joy and happiness
But I can honestly say
I do not feel this way.
Because
The love I feel for you can only be measured as Forever and a day.
