Why Me?
Why wasn’t I more clever? I thought our love would
last forever. You knew better. You seen the words
in my letter. The life of a single mom is not a
laughing matter. Things aren’t given to us on a
silver platter. Plus I’m a mom with no swagger.
Thinking about it makes me even madder. I know a
lot you are saying “man, this girl really likes to
jabber”. It’s okay let my ego get fatter.
When I write the pain is lesser. This is now my new
public pleasure.
