Can’t win them all

Lost in the words of my mind
I struggle to find
The parts of me that use to Combine
The pieces of me that made me gracefully
Along this broken road I’ve become disabled
Shattered like a glass clock
Stopped with no batteries in restock
I’ve seen my challenge
I’ve peeked my war
I’ve backed down
Some battles are just not worth fighting for
Giving up,
Like I’m my own lost cause
Will my enemies give me around of applause.
If I learned one thing, it’s that you can’t win them all.
