Under This Rain

Rain…

The anchor to our burning passion
buckets of drops–
dripping down– taking away our pain…
refilling us with buckets of desire.

Rain…

we are chained
no more refraining
but obtaining– the possession of one another.

Rolling down our faces
where lips meet lips
Chest meet chest
Who would have guessed–
this is not a test
but an addressed of a suitor?

Rain…

sliding down our clenched bodies
so gently, yet, so desirable…

I’m endearingly held
Your palms’ stroking both sides of my bod–
along with the trickling rain.

Your tender embracement offers me none,
but the shivers from the pouring rain,
and from every touches of yours.

Rain…

Oh the cooling rain…
Grab my hand
Keep me from flying off this land
Keep me from leaving this man…
and…
      this dreamland…

Thanks to the One and the Only- Poet. Cory Garcia - for the Topic of this challenge- Rain, and its affection to the objects it touches.
