Porcelain

“He was likely the only one who realized there was a will of iron under the porcelain.”
Regina Scott, Never Court a Count

A Sonnet

Porcelain beauty! fine and delicate
Elegant beautiful mesmerizing
Sparkling almond eyes lovely enchanting
Heart shaped rosy lips invite captivate

Charming radiant smile, queenly stately gait
Gentle pleasant voice intoxicating
But with an iron will bold and daring
Resolute heart that will not hesitate

From up close he’s adored her all these years
For she’s been his closest friend ever since
It’s a burden that’s prompting manly tears
For whenever she’s around his world spins
It’s a torch he’ll carry as twilight nears
Until the music of the night begins!

This is the second sonnet I wrote this week about the female beauty. The other one was Breath-takingly. I'm thinking of writing a couple more.

This is a Petrarchan or Italian sonnet with a rhyming pattern ABBA-ABBA-CDCDCD
