and chases money,
wearing the hottest name
brands nervously,
desperate to impress,
ignoring the scenery,
wondering how he
can exploit humanity,
hoping folks won't need his energy,
who isn't smiling emphatically,
who isn't even close to free,
who sets his moral code to be
whatever the Constitution decrees,
who hates the rain, and all the seas,
the snow, the smell of hope on the breeze,
tired of dreams, and poetry,
who wants to but does not climb trees,
who finds himself bored as often as bees
find out bears aren't all which love honey,
who strives for rank and never sees
his life go by, if you're looking for me.
