Remembrance
I smile I sing and I waved hello I walk in the light and sleep in the shadows my mask was perfect no one saw until it was too late i saw my demon and knelt in the light looking into its hateful stare I couldn’t carry on I’m gone now but carry on and face the daily demons don’t be a lost soul remember my smile remember the wings on my back as i flew away I was a diamond in the sand amongst the rocks my days were long and nights cold nothing felt like home now I’m gone but always with you battling those demons beside you don’t apologize don’t idolize jump and fly through the sky remember the good bad and ugly remember I’m always there.
