Day Dream

As the sun beams across my face,
I gracefully walk towards the edge of the water.
Feeling the ice-cold waves from the Mahongola Lake,
while breaking the mirror the reflecting water has made.

The water is soothing and comfortable,
The sky is sunny yet, cloudy with white puffs of snow.
The lilies  beside me are floating away pleasantly,
bringing such a melancholy surrounding.

“CAN’T YOU HEAR?”
“HELLO IS ANYONE THERE?”

“CAN YOU FINALLY DO SOME WORK FOR ONCE?”

Awaken back into reality by the horrible insults from my boss
and the clouds of laughter from my co-workers,
I realize life is not perfect after all,
I sink into my office desk filled with embarrassment.
Knowing what I just visualized will never come to existence.
