Fame and fortune
Drunken torching
This is how to have a good time?
All that you want
The spot up front
Just room for me, myself, and I?

What’s the point of going higher
When you can’t even walk through fire?

I don’t wanna be famous
I’d rather be hateless
It’s better than shameless
I don’t wanna be famous
Because being faithless
Just isn’t the greatest
I don’t wanna be famous

Fake it, buy it
Break the shyness
Dignity will never exist
You’ll play your part
Sing from their hearts
Made to accept their lies as bliss

If this is the good life
I’d rather pick a fight
If this is what fame is
I don’t wanna be famous
