Awkward Love

In the High school corridor,
A vision appeared, and I was floored.
A girl so right, a neon sign
My heart raced like I crossed the finish line.

Her laughter, a melody, sweet tune,
I tripped over my shoelaces, like a clumsy buffoon
My books fell out, it caught her eye,
She said, “Oh! Poor guy”

In the classroom, I aimed for the best,
But my joke landed flat, failed the ultimate test
She giggled, politely, and I blushed awkwardly
Oh, teenage romance, but will I be worthy?

With every awkward encounter, my crush began to grow,
Like a flower in spring, the heart started to show
In the comedy of errors, a connection began,
Maybe, she is my only plan.

So here is to the girl who caught my eye,
In this teenage saga, let laughter fly
So in this awkward moment, where feelings twirl,
I’m just a teen, waiting for the romance to unfurl.
