Forgive to Forget

A love lost in dialogues of a forgotten play.
As the words dance a bittersweet ballet,
Like dandelions, the fellow feeling flew too soon,
Leaving me adrift, beneath the lonely moon.

Fluttering in fragments of memories in the past,
But, bound by bars of romance that could not last
For ink alone can’t fix a wounded dove,
Nor, mend the bridge between the heart and love.

But hold, hated heart, though shadows fill the way.
A new dawn whispers. Promises a brighter day.
Dawn where dreams rebuild on stardust and tears
And love unfolds beyond unspoken fears

Wherever you wander, wherever you roam.
This poem will eternally entitle you to “home”
For even in absence, love will grow,
A token of memory, wherever you go.
