Universe’s epitome

In the world of the feelings we suppress,
A dance of words, For you I’ll express.
“You could stab me in the chest’’ I confess,
And I’ll still apologize, for getting my blood on your dress.

Was I only a line in your book,
Being the only character you mistook,
You left me sunken In the deep trenches of loneliness,
You let me drown, wounding me with your emptiness.

You and I, are December and January’s embrace,
A moment away, yet a lifetime’s space.
We are just a day apart, so close sent a chill up my spine,
But you are February 28 and I’m 29.

Our love was a dying star, which I now know as a curse
But I hope it was dense enough to die as a supernova,
propagating through the universe.

I fell in love with your flowers and fruits
But not your roots,
Now I wonder what will I do,
When autumn will be due.
