There once was a driver named Fran
who asked kids to call her ol’ gran
She drove down the roads
And she ran over toads
Laughing as only she can
The kids, they were used to the rules
In order to get to their school
Holding tight was the deal
With Fran at the wheel
And screaming was not labeled cool
If you held tight and just closed your eyes
The ride really did seem to fly by
There "fore ya knew it
Cause Fran just blew through it
She wanted to get home to some pie
Cause Fran also did like to bake
Cookies, pies and yes, cake
Pastries and Puffs
And all sorts of stuff
Anything sweet she could make
But Fran also liked to drive fast
And she did not like to be last
So she’d sway and she’d swerve
Never losing her nerve
Leaving the teachers aghast.
So next time your under the sky
And a yellow blur passes you by
Don’t fret because, man
Its just fast ol’fran
Trying to get home to her pie
