He fights for his country
He says that to everyone
He will leave at 6am
He is proud of himself
The time arrives,
he now must go
His parents cry,
his love is sad, but proud
Almost a month passes,
and finally he arrives at the front.
He is ready
Ready to fight
The sound of guns and bullets is nearer
and he starts to feel nervous,
his blood gets cold
and his skin has goosebumps
He is shaking
He didn’t knew.
He hears judes crying
and soldiers crying in pain
He gets of the bus and he sees hell:
Fire, explosions,
dead men, dead women...
dead children
He is confused
the general is shouting orders
He must take cover
He does, he hugs his rifle
He hears bullets coming in every direction
Killing his mates
The general orders him to open fire
He obeys, and he shoots no—where
His squad enters an abandoned house
They must clear it from the enemy
He enters a room
A shadow moves and he shoots...
A light cry, he is at shock
He isn’t proud anymore
He just hates his goverment
Hates the world
He wonders about war
Why do they start?
Are they worth it?
No they are not...
The shadow appears to be a child
a young judish child that was looking for her mother
The kid falls and covers the floor with blood
His eyes are looking to the infinity
Outside of the house he hears:
“incoming!”
A burst of red light appears
and then... darkness
He is standing beside the kid
They are holding hands
The kid is smiling
And he is too
They are both at peace
But they still worry about those who still fight
They feel sorry as well
The world is destroying itself...
