Lie To Prevent
We cannot speak when a miss-understanding may happen
You may see the rain-drops as tears
See a cloud and think of a storm
You may hear a thunder and think about war
But you’ll never see what indeed lies beneath
The sea of lies swallows the mind
We all hide our feelings inside the brain cave
Ashamed of what others may think
We think only about us
It is selfishness what corrupts us
But I ask the oracle of life:
Is it wrong to lie because we are ashamed?
Afraid of un-masking our true side?
Sometimes what we think runs the path of confussion
and penetrates the evil shadow of sin
And it is highly probable that no-one will come in our aid
Even though we are sure of what we fear
We cannot confess the fear that rottens our mind
We do it to protect the ones we love
They may missunderstand
As for the rain I shout to it
Cleanse this sin of mine!
As for the cloud I shout to it:
Become strong!
Finally I call the thunder:
Strike me!
And make me worthy!
Give me strengh!
As the painter I say
Draw me as I am
Do not paint a mask over me
Express my true self
But as myself
I hide what I feel
Those fears
That may hurt
May the rain be my sadness
May the cloud become my life-storm
May the thunder start a war inside me
May my true feelings hide beneath what they all see...

Sometimes we hide ourselves because of fear, mostly because we fear what others may say... But in my case it is different, I hide what I feel because I do not know the reaction. I AM afraid and she keeps telling me to speak my fears up...but I shut myself to prevent. I do feat but I better stay quiet. We may find true love... but it can also be ruined. And my fears become nightmares, as wolves hunting me. I cannot confess what I fear... because people may say it is ridiculous... to them I respond: All fears are ridiculous except for the one that is being held as hostage by that same fear.
