Caricamento in corso...

I remember the holiday when we were young

I remember when we were young,
all at the seaside having some fun.
digging sandcastles one by one.
everyone one was on the beach,
in the lovely warm sun.
I remember paddling in the sea,
been told I was only
allowed to go up to your knees.
I remember the ice-cream
dripping down our face,
mother telling us off,
as she wiped our face,
saying look at you its an utter disgrace.
I remember having dinner of fish and chips,
Going around the harbour
looking at boats and ships.
I remember the caravan
where we slept all night
everyone crammed in there
it was like having a fight
I remember the holiday
when we had fun and all this happened
when I was young
