I tell them
I tell them I’m doing really fine,
but sure enough I am having a hard time.
I tell them I’m doing well,
They can really never tell I’m going through hell.
I tell them I’m as happy as can be,
But underneath it saddens me.
I tell them I fully understand,
When deep down I really need a hand.
I tell them that I’m laughing,
When doors close I’m really crying.
I tell them this world is full of love,
Then preying to God all wars will end good.
