The sound of Scottish bagpipes that wailing a tune thank God it’s a goodbye.
Scottish food haggis and flat sausages it’s time to say goodbye,
Thank you for all the anti English bigotry and prejudices it’s time to say goodbye.
It’s time to leave Glasgow’s busy streets it’s time to say goodbye.
The drug users shooting up in the city and leaving syringes it’s time to say goodbye,
All the Scottish drinkers drinking buck-fast wine it’s time to say goodbye.
Leaving the redhead Glaswegian girlfriend after five years it’s time to say goodbye.
The high rise flats in Scotland its time to say goodbye,
To all the small towns and villages it’s time to say goodbye,
A Scotland who prides itself on self esteem and history it’s time to say goodbye.
The national flag of Scotland waving up on high it’s time to say goodbye,
As an English man I will never to travel to Scotland again, it’s time to say goodbye, goodbye, goodbye.
