On Breaking Rules

Somebody’s need – comes like a rock, like avalanche, hunting hawk –
Comes like an arrow, falling star, a bursting geiser, wrecking bar -
It falls like body on the Gallows, and like a drowned man in Shallows,
Drops like a tear in the rain, and like a Hunted – in the stain –

And like a corpse into a pit, and like a word unto a writ,
Combusting nothingness contracts, and otherworldly raves the pack,
And all the rights are lost, and gone, and all the boundaries are mowed,
It is the time that is at lost, and gulfs the words into its frost,

The time is trickling out of me, and running bites my skin in bits,
My heartbeat stops, becomes the other’s, and I am lost, and I am smothered,
My rivers running backwards, I’m reaping blindness left and right,
The path crossed seems to have run hours, my eyes have felt the colors flower.

I don’t know if I have done some wrong– and after I’m afraid to talk.
The timeless time whispers soft what happens is above the laws,
Above the rights, above the wrongs, it is just “it”, and nothing more,
So nothing else has to be said, nor to be done, nor to regret.
