I can’t tell if I’m crying because I’m tired or sad
Or maybe it’s a combination of the two
You say I’ve developed an attitude with your
But I think it’s just the choice of words you have for me
You thought I wouldn’t move on
And today somebody told you differently
You confronted me about it
And I just dazed off as if I was uninterested in what you had to say
Maybe I was uninterested
Because for the first time since I’ve known you
I realized I didn’t care anymore
I didn’t care about your opinion
Or what you thought of me
I didn’t care about how awful and mean
You were to me
Somehow I stopped caring
And maybe it’s the lack of my caring that
Has me so down
But I know it’ll all be for the better
