I’m sitting in my car
My iPod is on shuffle
Every song I’ve ever loved has now played through
And every song somehow has reminded me of you
A small piece or a bad memory
But it wasn’t all bad
I miss the way you used to look at me
The way your eyes lit up when you smiled,
The dimples that surrounded your cheeks
I miss the side of you that was gentle
But knew what he wanted
I miss you
I miss you so much that it hurts
It kills me a little every day to walk past you
And have you not even look up
Like I’m nothing
Like you don’t know me
But you do
You know me better than I know myself
You understand my past and who I am
You helped me when I could barely stand
Where did you go?
