May Not Be Perfect…..
I may not be perfect, but at least I am me.
I may not be loved, but guess what? I’m free.
I may not be beautiful, but I know I’m unique.
I may cry when I’m hurt, but dont call me weak.
I may not be popular, but I have real friends.
I may not always win, but I’ll fight till the end.
I may not have everything, but that proves I can let go.
I may not be strong, but at least I can say no.
I may be to skinny, but I have food to eat.
I may not live in a mansion, but I’m not on the street.
I may not show you my true self, but at least I am safe.
I may not be appreciated, but that’s okay.
I may not be quiet, but I like what I say.
I may not live forever, but for now, I’m right here.
I may not see God, but I know He’s always near.
I may not be pretty, but I know that I’m smart.
I may not follow your footsteps, but I follow my heart.
I laugh when I feel like it, I’m who I want to be.
And while I may not be perfect, at least I am me..
