Happy 2023! Happy Winter!
Unable to be all things For all people, Perhaps at one time, I tried. Those days are
The wind went through me, it carried the yellow, orange and red leaves lightly on the air. Another change is coming,
On the brink of leaving, To go beyond These borders And say good-bye, To all you know,
Sitting on the lake shore, Which made my heart soar, The water rippled at times, Swirled into beautiful lines, Clouds reflected in it’s mirror,
Grateful for: Sunrise of pink and gold Showing the way, Lighting the sky, To another blessed day.
Half a world away, I walk a narrow, stone path. In the rice fields, the Balinese people
Not sure where we are headed, Could be a long ride, Keep your heart steady, Open wide your eyes. There is something to learn
Itchy eyes scaly feet achy joints and bad teeth hair so fine
A path with heart Is full of love Which makes us right Brings in the light And chases the dark.
In the noble purpose of my life, In the clear and quiet chamber Of my soul, In the open and warm cave Of my heart,
Easing down the gravel road, yellow leaves spiral across, like a welcome
Life is not fair at times... But of course things Change quickly down the line, We are born into a No guarantee world.
It’s a billion stars moving and co… While we sleep. It’s one miracle after another and… We do not take the leap. It’s the great heave of nature
Sometimes wonder about a star, way afar. How life might be in outer space,
Rolling painted deserts of the west. Shrub bushes dot sloping hillsides. Relentless sun heats up
