And did it come
Fear like land
Mind the goat heads
Burring into the places where grief is held
Misunderstood and cherished
I caught
Marauders wrapped around the chimney
My sense of what is
They tell me it’s a song
A voice sharing shames
It’s cauterizing
Mind your stow aways
Just as much as
Clozapine permits
As always
Your blood work
Casts a clinical shadow over
I tried to tell
You religiously
if we
Could just give it a name it might
Learn to be less a nuisance

Thank you Berlinn Berlin for visiting my page and liking the poem “Rat Race”.

Clozapine gives me a clue. Stare directly into the devil’s eye. Confront him with Acceptance. Call nuisance Hope, a continuing Faith to heal.

I love you. Thanks again for reading me. And inviting me into your space.
