It's Christmas Time
You better bear down
and you better work hard,
and you better be using
that little plastic card.
You better be buying
like you can’t get enough,
it don’t make no difference
just go buy some stuff.
You better buy clothes
and you better buy toys,
and you better buy for the girls
and you better buy for the boys.
You better go to the bank
and float a big loan,
then spend all that money
until it’s all blown.
Spend it at pennys
and spend it a sears,
just keep buying stuff
till it comes out your ears.
Spend spend spend
is what you better do,
and the stuff that you buy
better be brand new.
Then take the stuff back
to your nice warm house,
and wrap it all up
with some help from your spouse.
Then stack the stuff up
under neath the fake tree,
and stand back and say
what a great sight to see.
Santa claus is coming
and you know what that means,
until we get it paid for
we’ll be eating sardines.
Heck we all do it
we just follow the pack,
and we keep our receipts
so we can take it all back.
It’s Christmas time
the best time to be living,
it’s the time to be happy
and it’s the time to be giving.
