Arm the Bears
arm the bears
and frisk the deer,
the time to panic
is drawing near.
go to Kroger
and stock up now,
get some chickens
and buy a cow.
dig a hole
and protect your head,
the code’s been changed
to the color red.
it’s coming
and it’s coming fast,
it could be a germ
or be a blast.
it makes no difference
we are all cursed,
and all this fear
is making me thirst.
I must have water
or maybe juice,
and take my neck
out of this noose.
I must stay strong
and set an example,
and for starters
here is a sample.
I’ll take a walk
with my head held high,
I shall be
a unique kinda guy.
I’ll not watch
the fox news channel,
and nor listen
to the Bloomberg panel.
I’ll not be
a bad news minion,
I shall form
my own opinion.
I’ll follow the steps
of JFK,
and this is what
I’m going to say.
ask not
what your television can do,
and ask yourself
do they have a clue.
and if I do
it’ll be alright,
because all I have to fear
is fright.:)
