I’m choosing to listen.

There is so much anger and frustration I can hardly breathe.

On the outside we try to fake it saying “we are fine” through gritted teeth.

Our government is corrupted, complicated and indiscreet he may be the chief but he’s a leader that doesn’t lead.

Social media is the outlet gossip seeps in every crack, people hide behind their screens twisting and manipulating every fact.

You seek justice by destruction? You seek peace by war?

We scream JESUS at the broken then shut every door.

We give our freedoms to people who take them never working towards their cost.

When something doesn’t look right we just decide to blame the cops.

It’s hard to seek the truth when you feel like you’ll never win, because every one is right and everyone has an opinion.

What happened to patience? Have you shut up and listened lately?

How about you stop prompting and promoting hate daily?

We fight so hard to be heard that we forget.

Life is short and a second chance? We don’t get!

This is simply my opinion nothing more and nothing less, but with it I’m choosing to listen and hope for the best.
