I need to just write until my fingers fall off and until I want to vomit up my heart.
When you feel like life is waiting for you on the other side
And you smile and then when it turns bad you want to cry
The world that felt so beautiful and new
Takes a change and tries to kill you
It rips you bit by bit and you feel the wings of angels being torn apart
You wish you were at the beginning, at the very start
When the sea is too black and deep
You feel yourself letting go and start to fall asleep
You know that maybe it’s worth waiting for
But you start to not know anymore
It all starts to kill you slowly like a blade in your back
You don’t know if this is love or an attack
Why try to fall in love when you know it’ll end
Why try to get up and think you’re my best friend
You feel lonelier and lonelier and the words you never wanted to hear
They crash down on you, they’re your worst fear
What was really worth it, what did you want out of this
I move silently now, trying to miss the Earth’s kiss
This knife slowly moves towards my heart
And you start to realize you are really falling apart
