“Blossom of love”

It was my initial thought to bestow her a bouquet of flowers and rose,
As she grew another year old,
A year full of her growth—stronger, prettier, and much more bold.
Though the more I thought, it’s so silly and naïve to give her just a bunch of rose.

And though what I say may sound a bit cliché,
But trust me with the words I’ll say, for it’s just what my heart says,
And I, just a liaison between you and his affair.

The reason for why I say it’s silly to gift her a bouquet,
For if she herself is not like a garden bestowed with abundant ferns and flowers,
For my soul swears by it, she embodies tranquility and serenity within her heart.
For she is a collection of flowers—her beautiful brown eyes like vivid poppy flowers,
If not, then why every time I gaze, I feel a tranquil trance-like state?
And her soul, if not like a bunch of daisies on a countryside estate,
For everyone she knows swears the simplicity and innocence lay within her core.

Her thoughts, dreamy and fluorescent like a hibiscus shimmering its majestic red,
And her passion, like a sunflower’s devotion.
And like a graceful rose, so is her elegant smile,
And mind not to mess with her smile, for like a rose she also knows to shield herself with thorns.

So, I do wonder, what present should I confer,
For if she already isn’t endowed with everything one could ever desire and hope?
So what I will gift is a mere word of honor,
My words to provide my sunshine on your gloomy days,
Where you are shrouded by dark and laden skies of horror.
And also, I wish to honor by showering the garden within you with water,
And to pour onto you my love to see you grow and prosper.
