My Home Town
It’s the City Of Brotherly Love,
and yes I do agree.
Philadelphias’ a beautiful City
with lots of sights to see.
All cities are made up of good and
bad, and there’s trouble everywhere.
tell me a place that’s perfect,
cause I truly want to go there.
We must look to see the good,
and there’s lots of it to find,
If you’re looking with your heart,
leaving fear and doubt behind.
There are places that are famous,
that I’d like to visit some time.
but it’s nice to know that when I’m
done, I can return to mine.
Home is what you make it,
Yes it’s what you want it to be.
If you believe a place is beautiful,
then beauty is what you’ll see.
I was born in the heart of this City,
and I know that I’m not alone.
when I say I’ve been other places,
but there’s just no place like home.
