Who I Really Am

2nd Corinth . 12;9 God said to Paul my Grace is sufficient for thee.

Some really do not know me
They don’t really see
They don’t see what’s in my heart
My life’s  destiny

My deep devotion to God
Even in my pain
Feelings I cannot explain
He’s my sun, moon, rain

Not even trying to be
One that’s so holy
I was just one day lifted
Out of misery

Though I still have some problems
I also have joy
That, that wicked old devil
Can never destroy

So I’ll travel through this life
Saying Gods great name
And even quietly sometimes
Carrying this flame.

Of one who was made alive
After being dead
One who was brought very low
Now alive instead

So even when I can’t show
Who I really am
I’ll just remember I’m His
And He understands.

Just some inner feelings today with these haiku verses. We can only be who we are.
This is not relating to my poetry friends. I feel in our poetry we do express and show who we are,
and I find solace here on Poeticous.
