Broken
To anyone that has lost someone.
Why can’t people see,
Is it not obvious maybe it’s just me.
I am changed forever I want to scream,
It is not by choice that I no longer dream.
When you lose someone close to you,
A piece of your mind and heart goes with them to.
It doesn’t mean I am crazy it simply means I am lost,
Into an unsure world I am suddenly tossed.
I try so hard everyday,
To hide that I am really not ok.
You change from being materialistic in life,
To being totally amazed just by little things like natures beauty and the wildlife.
I am more fragile then ever before,
So please tread carefully because my tender heart can’t take much more.
If you can’t see this and understand my pain,
If you think I am going a little insane.
Run away now while you can,
Because you don’t know me now and will probably never understand.
