Life after Death
It is hard to explain how you feel,
when you lose someone time doesn’t heal.
Instead you are left with this feeling you can’t quite explain,
a numbness that comes after the pain.
I don’t care for materialistic things anymore,
and you can’t plan a future that you once saw.
Day by day is how you live now,
and you are still unsure how.
How does it not bother me anymore,
to be wandering in life so unsure.
I have learnt that life is too short to plan,
do what is best for you now don’t worry if people don’t understand.
So I guess when it comes down to me,
I choose love, life, laughter and to be happy.
