At first glance most people think this poem is purely about a thunderstorm, but I tried to write it in a manner that can be interpreted in different ways. Keep an open mind and let it speak to your emotions.
My heart is breaking; Cracking, Flaking, Crashing, Chafing,
These voices swarm around, They buzz inside my head; Sounds that swell and abound Like wasps surrounding something d… I pick one voice out,
Staring out of a crystal window, Glassy greys and chilling blues Viewing the world as only I know No one can fully comprehend my hue… Can we reverse this one-way mirror…
Those moments when everything is p… You all recognize that soon things… At the time, you can ignore it; Immersing yourselves in the spell, Dripping slowly
I offered you my heart, You turned and threw it in my face… Can we please skip this part Where you become a complete disgra… I’ve lost my respect for you,
The raindrops plunge, continuously… Like so many beads of sorrow. Their hurried path is never stalli… Reminding me of a lost tomorrow. Ever flooding,
Cut me open and see The words tumble out Red and angry Staining the wood floor. HURT has spattered
