Poem for My Father
FATHER’S LOVE
In the world, he wasn’t a hero
But a hero he was within my life growth
He is a pillar of my life status
I am an apple on his eyes, so precious
I called him “jack of all trade”
For he can cook tasty food for restaurant and a good businessmen
A baker, carpenter, a fishermen and a singer
And he cooks my all favorite dish, like “Kare Kare ”and “papaitan ”
He is so caring and loving man
Having a greater love than any lover
And most, he is my dancing partner in a “Tango”
With a father’s love I am blessedly gracious
His voice is with harmonic tune
Gladly sing a song when the night of my sleep.
With fav song of “Sa Lumang Simbahan ”
which I usually joined him in duet
And he is so humorous with his native joke
My father’s love still lingers in my heart
He stood as a hero for me with his love so great and incomparable
You’ll always be remembered papa, not only on Father’s Day but everyday
Your memories lives forever, to all our generation to stay
