Because you brighten my day
Even when the sun’s shining
When I’m feeling down & fret
You’re my silver lining
Your warmth is like a buffet
Your love is fine dining

When the world is too loud

In a world without color
You’re somehow so vibrant
You give me comfort and peace
While we’re both self-reliant

In a world full of dreams
And hopes all ground to dust

We have unspoken conversations
Yet to be discussed

Was to see your smile
