Dublin riot

The world’s on fire
They say skins to blame
Not the man who killed his wife last week
He wasn’t the same
The many Irish women
Not even given names
Dead on irish soil by irish hands
But the foreigners get the blame
It was a irish lads who beat me
Broken to my core
Gave me anxiety
So bad I couldn’t leave my door
It was an irish lad who raped me
And many others too
But you don’t care about what white irish men do
Irish children as young at 5 where stabbed today in the street
But where was the so called protest when it was irish preists
Who abused and harmed our children first
Yet no one got up to fight
Don’t quote Michael Collins
When it’s robbing on your mind
Ireland doors are open
We are neutral ground
We open our arms
We are irish and we are proud
But that pride went sour with the fires that the riots lit
Tonight I cry for irish be it not in citizenship
