“Balooning”
I’d like to be a balloon today
Something lite so I could drift away,
Off to places where only balloons go,
Like Circuses, Carnival, and Parks, you know.
Places where people take a break and relax,
With Parades of Elephants, people on their backs;
Lions and Tigers, Monkeys and Bears,
Clowns in small cars removing our cares.
Yes,
I’d like to be a balloon today
Something lite so I could drift away.
Off to that place where nothing takes a toll
Just a whimsical place where only balloons go.
