Ex friends
I thought I’d compile a list to thee,
I call it the “learning about Laura tree”.
To see you in different ways now is refreshingly bright,
I hoped you’d have it in you, and I was right.
The way I think about you has altered,
Our silence is now shared, not awkward.
You are a delightful mess, I say with a smile,
Beautifully open but slightly hostile.
You’re inexperienced, I couldn’t care less,
But you’re sexy as fuck I must confess!
I now see though the tough exterior,
And find myself feeling in awe but inferior.
Your face when tickled is some what infectious,
Your skin is so soft is leaves me momentarily breathless.
Your complex mental structure bemuses me,
If it takes me ten years to solve at least I’ll be busy.
I bite my lip when I see you giggle,
It excites me more when it’s accompanied by a wiggle.
I’m thankful to you for giving me sight,
I’ve seen this poem in my heart for a while, now I am able write.
